Description
Calling all young explorers! Join Weir River Farm staff and become a wildlife detective! Winter is one of the best times to search for wildlife. Help us scour our woodlands in search of signs that animals have been out and about. On our scavenger hunt, we’ll keep an eye out for snapped branches, animal homes, footprints, food, and even the critters themselves! Who knows what we’ll stumble upon in the winter woodlands!
Dress in warm layers, warm boots, hat and mittens. Bring track guides and binoculars if you have them. Tracking sheets will be provided. This family program is geared towards our young explorers, recommended for ages 5-8 with their caregivers. This program will take approximately 45-60 minutes.
Pre-registration is required for this event. Children 2 and under are free.
This program may be cancelled in the event of dangerous weather. In the event of cancellation, you will be notified via the email address you used to register and refunded in full within 14 business days. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
