Description
Grab your friends and family and join us at Weir River Farm for our annual Fall Festival!
Spend time learning about our livestock with our educators, climb aboard a tractor, choose a farm “tattoo”, make a spooky mask or a wildflower seed “bomb”, challenge your friends at corn hole and the potato spoon relay!
All this activity will surely have you hungry – grab your blanket and enjoy a picnic provided by the Wanderlust and Fasano’s food trucks. Thirsty? While the kids enjoy a lemonade, grab a local beer from Zelus Brewing or Barrel House Z. And leave room for dessert! Nona’s Homemade will join us for the morning.
Relax and enjoy a full day of live music: Peter Mundt entertains families from 11AM – 12:45PM, the Lied To’s play a mixture of country, roots, and folk from 1 – 2:45PM, and the Mood Swings Orchestra, Boston’s all-women 19-piece big band, rocks from 3 – 4:30PM.
While you are at the event, be sure to stop by Weir River Farm Market to purchase some beef, pork, lamb or chicken raised right on the farm, and delicious local cheeses, jams, baked goods, and fresh produce.
Admission includes everything except food and beverages. This event runs rain or shine. Admission fee is per person and must be purchased in advance. Not a Trustees member yet? Join at the event and receive a free Weir River Farm T-Shirt! (Promotion available at event only.) See you there!
