Little Learners offers a small, supportive, fully integrated, group setting for learners ages 2.5 through 5 years of age. Little Learners provides children the opportunity to learn social skills in a structured natural environment with similar aged peers.
The program will foster play skills, interactions, and conversations with peers, following group instructions, engaging in shared activities and group projects in addition to learning preacademic skills. Little Learners preschool program is led by a certified preschool teacher with a Master’s in Education and 20 years of experience as a preschool teacher and as well as support from a behavior therapist in the classroom. In addition, an Occupational therapist, Speech and Language Pathologist and Music therapist will each provide consultation and group lessons in the classroom each week. Consultation from a BCBA will also be offered for those learners who may need more specialized instruction and support in a group setting.
The preschool group will take place Monday-Friday 9:00-12:00pm with an optional Lunch Bunch 12:00-1:00pm. Children will learn in a classroom specially designed to meet their developmental, educational, and sensory needs and have access to a gross motor room. Children have the opportunity to stay after the preschool group for their individual ABA, speech, and OT services providing them with a full day of learning therapy, and support.
