Hi, I’m Emily, a full-time working mom of one (with another on the way in April), NAPS certified Mom Survival Group Leader, and founder of Mom to Mom, LLC. I live on the South Shore with my husband Tom, 1.5-year-old son Max, & our dog Millie. We live for the summer and can’t wait for longer, warmer days, dining alfresco, and you bet I can’t wait for a nice cold beer on the beach after being pregnant all winter long!
After having my son in 2021, I never realized just how hard it is being a mom. There is no handbook to parenthood, but I found many of the daily newborn habits I was trying to navigate, as well as my own mental and physical changes, left me constantly asking myself; is this normal? I quickly joined NAPS, a community dedicated to supporting parents from pregnancy through early childhood. From the all help and support I gained, I knew this was something I wanted to provide to other moms in our own community.
I created Mom to Mom to bring a judgment free community to the South Shore where moms can be real about the hot, and not so hot experiences of being a mom – no topic is taboo. I plan on offering a variety of support groups for New Moms, Working Moms, and Toddler Moms. All stages of motherhood bring a new set of challenges and by joining these groups, my hope is moms feel bonded together by these shared experiences. I want moms to feel comforted in knowing they are not alone in their feelings or struggles, but also celebrate in the daily wins and amazing memories we make with our children.
My message to moms would be, wherever you are in your motherhood journey, Mom to Mom is for you to come as you are – come in sweats or in your best #OOTD, makeup or no makeup, kid or no kid. Come to share, vent, laugh, listen – in this community you will feel connected, supported, and validated in your thoughts, feelings, and parenting decisions.
Above all else, let’s be real about this journey, Mom to Mom. Learn more and sign up here.
