1. Rent a Paddleboard or Kayak!
I hate to be the one to say this, but summer is coming to a close and now is the time to cross those things off your summer bucket list that you haven't gotten to yet. If you haven't yet heard of YUPSUP in Marshfield, you are missing out! This beautiful, coastal shop not only offers SUP and kayak rentals but a wide variety of clothing, jewelry, art and accessories. Follow them on instagram or facebook for weekly updates on the best time to rent and if you are in the area, you want to make sure you swing by this charming little shop!
2. Marshfield Fair
This week is your last chance to get to the Marshfield Fair and you do not want to miss out. There is so much to do and so much fun to be had. This year, Levitate ha brought live music back to the Fair and on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night, they will have free live music presented by Untold Brewing, Rexicana and Stellwagen. Get all of the details here!
3.The Green in Partnership with Untold Brewing
Speaking of Untold Brewing, you know I can't let a week go by without putting this on my top 5 list. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting), Untold Brewing and Derby Street present a family friendly, casual community hang out complete with lawn games, great tunes, and great beers. They also serve wine, cider and non alcoholic seltzers. Grab take out from the restaurants at derby street to enjoy with your drinks! Get all of the details here!
4. Go to a Farmers Market
With over FIVE farmers markets to choose from, you have no reason not to check at least one out. Farmers markets are the best way to support local, have some fun and try something new! This week alone, Cohasset, Marshfield, Rockland, Scituate and Hingham are all hosting awesome Farmer's Markets. Get all of the details on each one here!
5. Music with Peter Mundt at Derby Street
Derby Street will host the very last Summer Thursday children's event this Thursday. After being rained out twice, we finally will get to say goodbye to our favorite, weekly event of the summer! So long Derby Thursdays, you were so good to us. Thank you so much for all of the free, family fun! Get all of the details here!
