Every week, Macaroni Kid South Shore shares five things to do with your kids in the area in the coming week.
Here is Macaroni Kid South Shore's picks for the five things to do in the South Shore with kids this week. Click on the links for all the details!
1. Go to the beach!
We don't live on the South Shore not to have so many amazing beaches at our fingertips. I hate to be the one to say it but summer is coming to an end soon and you do not want to regret not having enough beach time! We love Duxbury and Green Harbor the most.
2.Check out Boys and Girls Club in Marshfield
Every day, in the morning or afternoon, the pool and splash pad at the BGC in Marshfield are open to the public. The kids love it and it is a great way to cool off on those hot days!

3. Sing some tunes with MamaSteph!
If you have not heard of MamaSteph, you (I mean your little one's) are missing out! Her singalong sessions are so much fun for kids of all ages. You have two opportunities to see her this week! Tuesday at the Paul Pratt Memorial Library in Cohasset and Friday at the John Curtis Free Library in Hanover. Check the event calendar for details!
4. The Green in Partnership with Untold Brewing
This is the most family friendly venue! Untold Brewing pours their amazing beer (and wine) while the kids can play, you can pick up some dinner from any of the nearby restaurants and they typically have live music. A win-win for parents and kids! This runs all weekend from Friday-Sunday and is weather permitting. Check out the details here!
5. Eat from a Food Truck on Food Truck Tuesdays and Thursdays!
We are so lucky to have some amazing food trucks serving the South Shore. Check them all out and let the kids run around and dance to some live music on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Forge Pond Park in Hanover.
