We stumbled on the Tower Ave Park Playground this past spring when we were working on updating the photos for our South Shore Playground Guide. Everyone knows and loves Kids at Play Park in Marshfield and for good reason. It's a great, big, unique playground with easy access to the library which is a great spot to take a break, read some books and use the bathroom, but there are actually several really great playgrounds in Marshfield and we think you should check them out too! The first one we are going to highlight is the one on Tower Ave. It's a neighborhood playground for sure with just a limited amount of street park (please be respectful of the neighborhood) but it's a great playground!
There is a giant climbing structure, two play structures with slides for different age children, swings, and a covered picnic area. The surface of the playground is wood chips, and there is a fence with a gate. There is also a large field next to the playground and a basketball court. The playground is open dawn to dusk and there are no bathroom facilities.
