Mac is a friendly stuffed apple who helps your children get excited about school. He is with them all year long, but the end of summer is when his magic shines. As a family, read the book together to start the tradition and watch the fun begin. During the day your children involve him in their activities and at night (with some parental persuasion) Mac’s magic comes alive. He leaves treats, plays tricks or sometimes leaves a small back-to-school gift (like a cool pencil or a new box of crayons). Kim DiLoreto’s love for children’s picture books began when her kids were babies. The fascination and pure joy she saw on their faces when she read to them are memories she’ll cherish forever. Back To School With Mac®, her first book was inspired by her daughter’s love of stuffed animals and her apprehension of beginning a new school year. Kim lives in Norwell, Massachusetts with her incredibly supportive husband, three amazing kids, and their fetch-loving rescue pup. She’s a graduate of Saint Anselm College.
