Try to Master the 4th Dimension with the New LEGO® NINJAGO® 4D Movie

By Laurie Corbett, Publisher Macaroni Kid South Shore Boston and Mom of Three April 7, 2018

There are many times that my kids roll their eyes at my cartoon character knowledge. For example, this morning I found my kids watching LEGO® NINJAGO®: Masters of Spinjitzu and I asked a question about a character that I thought I knew the answer to. Eye roll. I followed it up with a question about the plot line that I thought I had figured out. Another eye roll. Clearly, I am not as up on my LEGO® NINJAGO® as I thought I was, but last night there weren't any eye rolls. Our family was guests of LEGOLAND® Discovery Center to check out the brand new 4D movie LEGO® NINJAGO® Master of the 4th Dimension. It premieres April 7th and will run through the end of the year, and if you have little ninjas in your life you don't want to miss it!

The movie follows Nya, Lloyd, Kai and the gang on their new adventure with Master Wu. Master Wu interrupts them at their Dojo and remarks that they may be ready to learn the teachings of the “Scroll of the 4th Dimension,” a powerful manuscript that teaches the Ninjas to look at time and space in a very different way. However, their initial reaction leaves him doubting their commitment to the lesson, so he goes for a lovely cup of tea.  Mistakenly, he drops the scroll on the way out of the Dojo and the Ninjas cannot resist trying to unravel its secrets with disastrous consequences for everyone!

We always love visiting LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston but for my three LEGO® NINJAGO® lovers, the new movie was the best part of our recent visit. From the unique theme of a 4th dimension to the interactive 4D effects and classic punch lines of the beloved NINJAGO® characters, the movie had us all jumping and laughing the entire time. We dodged ninja stars, popped snowflake bubbles and felt the spray of Nya's water element.

To celebrate the release of the new movie, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston will be hosting a weekend filled of NINJAGO themed activities, April 7th and 8th, including viewings of the new LEGO® NINJAGO® Master of the 4th Dimension 4D movie, Airjitzu interactive demonstration, LEGO® NINJAGO® MINILAND takeover and scavenger hunt, LEGO® NINJAGO® themed build in the Master Builder Academy and photo opportunities with LEGO® NINJAGO® Ninja Kai.

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston is open daily at 10 am. Entry to the 4D movie theater is included in the price of admission. Advance tickets are suggested to guarantee admission and can be purchased online at www.legolanddiscoverycenter.com/boston.
