Hingham Community Playground

339 Main Street

Hingham, MA

Hingham Community Playground can be accessed from a few different roads. We usually enter from Main Street using the unmarked road next to the fire station. It continues behind the station and around a bend into some trees, and opens up to a parking lot which is right next to the playground and even has some shaded spots for hot days.

A completely fenced in playground with a huge variety of play areas the Hingham Community Playground is one of our favorites in the area! There is a large climbing structure, smaller structures, a sandbox with a boat structure, house/building facades, swings, lots of shade and plenty of seating for adults. There are also fields nearby for running around when they aren't in use by sports teams or other programs.

There are no bathroom facilities at the playground so plan accordingly. Also, during the summer months the playground may be in use by camp programs. The day we visit there was a camp program using the playground along with regular visitors. The playground is large enough that it was not a problem the day we visited, but it is something to be aware of.
