Need something to keep the kids busy while you are running around preparing for the holidays, or something that will engage them for a while after they are done tearing through the presents? We had the opportunity to try out two Puffy Sticker Play Set from Melissa & Doug this week, and I will definitely be picking up more. My 3 year old daughter loved moving the princesses around the pages, and putting them in different costumes with different accessories. She came up with different scenarios on what they were doing, where they were going, and did some really neat storytelling with them. The sticker set come in many different types from princesses and fairies to pirates and squirrels, and you can pull the stickers on and off to use over and over. They are perfect for keeping preschool, and early elementary school, age kids busy for a few minutes, but can also be used as a jumping off point for literacy based activities such as storytelling, and writing prompts.
