About South Shore Natural Science Center
In June of 1962, the South Shore Natural Science Center in Norwell was founded with a mission to provide natural science experiences that educate, excite and commit every generation to conserve the environment, and to encourage use, stewardship and enjoyment of our natural resources. This mission is instilled throughout the Science Center’s educational programming, summer day camp and preschool. In 2011, SSNSC became an organization of South Shore YMCA.
