Introducing ... Sarah Nobles of Mono Mono Boutique our Mompreneur of the Month

Sarah's mother opened a bridal shop when she was just an infant. Some people say they grew up in retail. She literally did! She remembers going to the store, and bridal trade shows, with her mother as a young child. All of her mother's sales reps knew Sarah by name.

As a teenager Sarah was already helping with the buying, and merchandising, of the bridal gowns, and accessories, in her mother's boutique, and by college she was managing the store. Her mother eventually retired, and sold her store, and Sarah went on to get a degree in psychology. She was determined to move away from retail.

When she graduated from college she began working in a small boutique, and always found herself thinking about how she would do it if she had her own store. One day she was driving to her parents house in Marshfield and saw a For Rent sign in the window of a retail space. She called it "scary and risky" but with encouragement from her family she decided it was time to take the leap! Within a few months Mono Mono Boutique was born. Little did she know very soon after opening her boutique another little one would be born. Less than nine months after opening the boutique Sarah gave birth to her daughter Cadence. She feels blessed to have been able to bring her to work with her for the first 15 months of her life. Eventually she started running around the store, and causing trouble, but Sarah knows she couldn't have brought her with her to many other jobs, and is truly grateful for their time together. Her children are now five and two and while they aren't found in her boutique on a daily basis anymore she still has customers who remember them, and ask about how they are doing. For Sarah this is when she realized that her life had come full circle. Now her sales reps know her kids by name!
