Celebrate Earth Week with the South Shore YMCA Nature Center and McGuire’s Mushrooms!
Join us for a fun and hands-on adventure with McGuire’s Mushrooms as we learn all about mushroom compost – a super helpful material that makes soil healthier, helps plants hold onto water, and gives them the nutrients they need to grow big and strong! After learning how mushroom compost helps gardens and plants, kids will create newspaper seedling pots and start seeds with Nature Center educators. Healthy soil is key to a healthy planet!
About McGuire’s Mushrooms: McGuire’s Mushrooms LLC is a family operated, local farm run out of Hingham, MA.
