5 Things to Do this Week on the South Shore (9/15-9/18)

There's lots of fun happening on the South Shore this week!

By Christina Skeldon September 14, 2022

I think one of the reasons that I love September so much is that there is SO much to do. The weather is mostly still warm yet here we are, enjoying all the Fall-ish activities. This weekend is no different and the weather looks like a 10 so get out there and embrace all of the September fun! As always, the event calendar should be your go to for the full line up but here are your top five of the week/end!

1. Marshfield Lobsterfest - 2022, Saturday

With amazing food and drinks, a kids zone, artisan fair, entertainment and more, the Marshfield Lobsterfest is not one to be missed! As a Marshfield resident, I especially love the fun and pride that goes along with it!

2. Touch a Truck for a Cause, Saturday

If your kids are anything like mine, touch a trucks are where it's at. I try to bring them to every touch a truck that comes to the South Shore because they are the best entertainment for them!

3. Oktoberfest 2022, Saturday

With two locations to decide from, Untold Brewing in Scituate or the Untold Pop Up at the Derby Street Green, this day-long festivity will be one for the books! With festive decor, music, traditional Bavarian street fare and more, this will be a good one!

4. Weymouth 400 Day, Saturday

Trolley Tours, Historic Reenactments, Food Trucks, Live Music, Kid Games & a Touch-A-Truck make for a super family friendly day in Weymouth! The day will be capped off with an incredible laser light show💫 ...a must see for all ages!

5. Nantasket Beach Car Show, Sunday

On Sunday, spend the day by the ocean and view hundreds of classic, antique and modern cars and trucks. All lined up side by side for a half a mile along Nantasket Avenue. Fun for all ages, especially those car and truck loving kiddos!

Have a great weekend, friends!
