Hello June! I welcome you with open arms. Get ready for all of the summer fun, family friendly activities to start popping up left and right! It's going to be a good one. As always, be sure to check out the jam packed event calendar for all of your South Shore happenings but here are your top five picks for the week!

1. Bubbles & Beats with DJ Sprino, Thursday

All of the kids events Derby Street put on are always so fun but Bubbles and Beats with DJ Sprino is always a HUGE hit. What is it about bubbles that make the little ones out of their mind excited?! It is always so fun watching them dance, pop some bubbles and giggle their way through their morning at this great event. Be sure to stop at the rainbow mural at Derby to snap a shot in honor of Pride month when you are there!

2. Sunset Picnics at Weir River Farm, Thursday

Opening night of the lovely sunset picnics at Weir River Farm. You can expect live music, local food, craft brews, and the South Shore’s best views. To start off the weekly fun, this Thursday will feature featuring the Erin Harpe Country Blues Duo, Stellwagen Beer, and the Cruisin’ Cabby Shack Food truck!

3. The Academy of The Company Theatre’s Family Fun Day, Saturday

The Academy of The Company Theatre’s Family Fun Day combines fun in the sun with quality theatrics. Attendees have the opportunity to experience excerpts of performances from the casts of A.C.T.’s production of Les Miserables and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as well as A.C.T. alum and contestant from “The Voice” Caitlin Ford.

4. Untold Beer Garden @ Derby Street Green, Saturday

Combine two of my favorite places together and what do you get, a family fun day for everyone! Opening weekend of Untold Brewing at the Derby Street Green is finally here and I am so excited! This Saturday enjoy some live music, tasty beers and grab some take out from one of the great restaurants while you are there!

5. Family Pride @ Paragon Carousel, Sunday

Join Hull Pride at the Paragon Carousel for a family friendly afternoon. Enjoy games and fun activities. Ride the historic Paragon Carousel and enjoy ice cream and treats from the Paragon Creamery. What better way to kick off the first weekend of Pride!

Have a great weekend, friends!
