I feel like just yesterday we were talking about April vacation and here we are, Memorial Day weekend! Is it just me or does the weather always disappoint every year for MDW. As New Englanders, MDW typically stands for the start of summer weather (although not really most years) and a 3 day weekend. Let's be sure to remember what Memorial Day is really about and to remember and honor all of the moms, dads, brothers, and sisters who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

1. Blakeman's 2022 Opening Weekend!, all weekend
Nothing screams SUMMER IS HERE like a trip to Blakeman's at Duxbury Beach. Lobster rolls, fish tacos, super family friendly with the best location!
2. North River Arts Society Festival of the Arts, Saturday and Sunday
The Festival of the Arts is a two-day block-party-style celebration of our community’s collective creativity, set in historic Marshfield Hills Village. The Festival encompasses fine art, photography, sculpture, live performances by musicians, dancers and thespians, plein air demos, children’s activities, artisans’ creations, delicious fare prepared by local food trucks, and more!
3. Opening of the Bay: Family Day, Saturday
A family fun day with a mission to connect families to Duxbury Bay and local businesses in our community. They will have live music, food, vendors, and a ton more to keep you and your family entertained.
4. Mad Love X Paragon Boardwalk, Saturday and Sunday
A Summer Kick Off with Mad Love at Paragon Boardwalk on Saturday and Sunday! Corn hole, hula hoops, Mad Love merch and live music!
5. Mayflower Beer Garden at The Pinehills Kickoff!, Sunday
Mayflower Brewing Company is returning to The Pinehills Village Green every Sunday from 12-6pm. The Sunday Beer Gardens will have beer, wine, live music, local artisans, and the Lobsta Love Food Truck every week!
