April felt like the longest month but for some reason now that May is practically here, I feel like it flew by! Hello May, please bring warmer temps so that I can watch my son play Tball without wearing my winter jacket! Now that May is here, all focus is shifting towards Mother's Day (as it should be!) so you will find lots of events on the calendar focused on that! Here are your top 5 picks for the week!
1. South Shore Eco Festival, Friday
I am so excited that the South Shore Eco Fest is finally here! The sun will be shining, amazing businesses will be showcasing fun and simple lifestyle swaps, Untold beer will be flowing and amazing music will be playing! This is en event not to be missed!
2. Untold, For Now: A Mother's Day Pop-Up, Friday & Saturday
Two of my favorite businesses joining forces for a second time to bring the South Shore a taste of Boston Seaport's beloved shop, For Now and all the amazing brands they offer. Perfect for all of that Mother's Day shopping (for yourself!).
3. Mother’s Day Art & Music Specialty Class, Saturday
Over The Moon always offers the sweetest specialty classes and this one is no exception! Enjoy the smells of coffee scented playdoh, play tea party in your individual water filled sensory table, create flower wall art, and make a sweet keepsake to take home. Class will also be filled with songs, stories, and bubbles. There are a few spots open in both sessions so sign up today before it fills up!
4. Spring Open Studios & Art Fair, Saturday
Check out over 80 artists as they open their working studios & showcase their work in booths around the historic Sandpaper Factory in Rockland. A great way to celebrate arts, community and culture!
5. Uno De Mayo Celebration, Sunday
A celebration for the whole family not to be missed! Another collaboration with some of my favorite South Shore businesses: Untold Brewing, Locales Tacos, Burke's Hot Sauce with limited edition posters for sale by Jaimee Makes and so much more!
