How many kids do you have and how old are they?
2 kids. A 7 year old girl & a 4 year old boy

What town do you live in and what is your favorite thing about the South Shore?
We live in Marshfield and my favorite thing about the South Shore is being in a coastal community! I grew up in the western part of the state and was hours away from a nice beach so having the beach minutes away has been life changing.

What do you like to do for fun with your kids? We love the beach, our pool, traveling.  My husband and I are huge foodies and my kids take after us so we love to go out to dinner and try new restaurants!
Without your kids?
I love shopping for home decor, strolling the isles at Target or Trader Joe’s, working out (huge Orangetheory fan!), date nights with my hubby, & maybe taking a nice uninterrupted bubble bath :).

Tell me about On Board by Ashley, LLC and how it came about.
I started my business towards the end of 2020 during the pandemic. I love to decorate and I love food, so creating beautiful charcuterie boards is kind of a mix of the both. I’ve been a stay at home mom for the past 7 years and have always craved a creative outlet. This definitely fills my need to be creative and the response I’ve gotten from locals (and beyond) has been incredible!

Does the South Shore have any influence on your work?
It sure does. The vibe out here pairs perfectly with a delicious, beautifully-crafted charcuterie.

How do you balance work and life? Or do you?! ;)
Honestly, this one has been tough. Going from “stay at home mom” to “business owner” has been a huge adjustment for me and my family. But they see how passionate I am about it and how great the response has been so they’re very supportive.

Favorite places on the South Shore to:
Eat: Salt, Alba, Solstice, Scarlett Oak, Su Casa
Drink: Rexicana, Island Creek Oyster Bar, Alba, Salt, Roht Marine, Stellwagen Beer Company
Play: Rexhame Beach, Duxbury Beach, my back yard, Yup Sup

Thank you, Ashley!
