5 Things to Do this Week on the South Shore (8/30-9/5)

There's lots of fun happening on the South Shore this week!

By Christina Skeldon August 31, 2021

Every week Macaroni Kid South Shore shares five things to do with your kids in the coming week. As summer comes to a very sad end, here are some things to help ease you out of my favorite season!

1. Sign up for a trial class of Music Together with South Shore Conservatory

Music Together offers children birth through four, accompanied by a caregiver, a joyful, interactive introduction to music through song, dance and age-appropriate rhythmic activities. You have the opportunity to sign up for a trial class this week at Norwell, Duxbury and Hingham Public Libraries. Check out the details here in order to pre-register. Space is limited!

2. Rock out to Mamasteph at Scituate Public Library

Who doesn't love Mamasteph? My kids may be her biggest fans. She will be at Scituate Public Library this Friday and it is great way to sing goodbye to summer! Get all of the event details here!

3. Firepit Fridays at Stellwagen Brewery

This Friday is the start of Fire Pit Friday's at Stellwagen Brewery. A family friendly brewery with live music, warm fire and excellent beer! Find the deets here!

4. Labor Day Beach Bonfire at Duxbury Beach

Lots of details on this event so make sure you read them here! I am so excited for this one and cannot think of a more proper way to say goodbye to summer!

5. Food Truck Thursdays at Forge Pond Park

If you have not attended a Food Truck night yet, now is the time! As the weather gets cooler, you'll want to make sure you crossed this off your bucket list while you can still hang outside to enjoy the food and fun! Get all the details here!
