The winter holidays have past and we don't have any snow to play in or frozen ice to skate on. I'm the kind of person who prefers snow if it is going to be cold. It's a lot easier to send the kids outside to play in the snow than on the frozen bare ground, but while we wait for the snow to fly and the ice to freeze I'm working on updating our sledding, skating, and snowshoeing guides so they will be ready to go! Plus, I updated our South Shore Little Libraries Guide this week because cuddling up with a book is a great way to spend these cold winter days.
And thanks to our friends at The Hale Life we have a delicious Vegetable Detox Soup to try, and I have pulled up an article we shared this summer with 11 Free Ways to Take Care of Yourself because I need it more than ever right now and suspect others might as well. Don't miss our calendar if you are looking for things to keep your family entertained this winter. Our libraries have done a great job with local virtual content, and our wonderful sponsors at My Gym Norwell and Cohasset have a full calendar in their My Gym Online program! There are even a few outdoor socially distant events at places like Weir River Farm in Hingham and Holly Hill Farm in Cohasset.
