For me, there is nothing greater than watching the world through the eyes of my children and this time of year is even more magical. One of my favorite holiday traditions is seeing a holiday stage show together and this year we were excited to check out A Charlie Brown Christmas Live at the Boch Center's Shubert Teater in Boston. While Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Snoopy, and the whole Peanuts gang danced and sang across the stage my four-year-old sat on the edge of his seat transfixed on the stage. To him, something he had only seen on TV had become real and that is magical! Next to him, his sisters laughed and giggled while waiting for their favorite lines from the movie but he barely moved. This is what makes this time of year so special for me. Watching the wonder the holidays come alive for my kids as we make memories together. A Charlie Brown Christmas Live doesn't disappoint with its reminder that Christmas isn't about the things but about the people, and I couldn't think of a better way to spend the holidays than with my people making memories.
