A Note From Your Publisher {9/17}

By Laurie Corbett, Publisher, Macaroni Kid South Shore Boston September 17, 2020

I want to start by apologizing. I usually try to keep the weekly e-newsletter short and sweet. I know how very busy caregivers are, and this week might just be the busiest yet as so many kids on the South Shore are going back to school in person, hybrid, virtual and homeschooling. But I just had too much to share with you this week and I'm saving two really great articles for next week so I really don't overwhelm you!

Our friends at Kindred Spirit Gifts heard about our fun giveaway for teachers last week, and wanted to do something special for a local caregiver since going back to school this year is taking a new level of support from parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and more to make sure kids have the support they need in this new educational world. Don't miss the fun giveaway HERE.

Then we have some fun snacking options from our national sponsors DELIGHTED BY Desserts that you don't want to miss, the long awaited, reader requested, launch of our South Shore Skateparks Guide, and delicious recipes to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and Rosh Hashanah, and how Kellogg's is helping spark the love of reading across the nation with FREE books!

I hope everyone is having a great first, or second, week of school no matter how weird it might be! Remember to give everyone a little grace this week - it's hard for everyone.
