A note from the editor

Welcome to Macaroni Kid South Shore Boston! We strive to be the go-to source of all things family-friendly on Boston's South Shore! You'll find local activities for kids and families, info on our favorite field trips, family-friendly product reviews, recipes, giveaways and more.

Happy Halloween! We hope you have been enjoying all of the great, local Halloween events that have been going on across the South Shore! There are a few more today, and tomorrow - including trick or treating at the Hanover Mall in case you want to avoid the weather, dark, cars, etc. Have a safe and fun holiday!

This week's newsletter has lots of great, local events, info on the music and movement class that is back at our wonderful sponsor South Shore Learning Lab, our review of a beautiful new book that is out just in time for the holidays, details on our road trip to the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston and a new babysitter worthy event to put on your calendar. Last week's babysitter worthy event sold out so don't wait to book your sitter for this week's pick!

Please note that our November calendar is in the works! There are lots more events coming in the next few days, including library events. October was very busy with Halloween events and I hadn't had the chance to fully load November yet. I promise it is coming soon along with our wonderful Shop Local Holiday Gift Guide which launches November 1st!

Don't forget our Playground Guide, and the final week for our Work From Home Guide can be found below this week's events listings!

Don't forget we update our calendar almost daily! Make sure to check it often for the most up-to-date, local family-friendly events! Click HERE to see it now.

Thanks!
