Head to the Annual Corn Festival This Weekend!

South Shore Natural Science Center's 38th Annual Corn Festival - September 13th and 14th

The South Shore Natural Science Center, an environmental education center and museum in Norwell, announces the 38th annual Corn Festival, this weekend September 13-14, 2014.  Popular with families across the region, the Corn Festival is an annual event celebrating the fall harvest, and natural and cultural heritage of New England.  The festival will be held two days: Saturday, September 13 and Sunday, September 14, from 10am to 4pm on both days (rain or shine).
 
Features of the festival include a variety of corn-themed food and activities, including the Center’s famous corn chowder, corn on the cob, a corn pit and corn shucking contests. Other activities include kids’ games and crafts, hayrides, pony rides, traditional crafts demonstrations, farm animals, wildlife presentations, nature walks, and a country bake table. 
 
Admission to the festival is $8 per adult, $6 per child for Science Center members ($10 adult/$8 child for nonmembers).  Admission price includes most activities, games and crafts.
