The event heads to Boston on August 2 to the Revere Hotel. Presented by Acelleron Medical Products the Boston event will also feature a parentally incorrect comedy show entitled the “Pump and Dump Show.” This mother-created show is designed to let breeders throw a few back, have some laughs, and remind themselves who they once were. The show blatantly makes fun of your children – who are not invited.
On Saturday, MommyCon will kick off with a breastfeeding world record presented by Acelleron. Thousands of nursing mothers around the globe will join in to normalize breastfeeding. A breast pumping world record will also occur setting a precedence for mother’s around the world who pump human milk for their babies.
Speakers at the event include; Jessica Martin-Weber of The Leaky Boob, Jamie Grayson of the Baby Guy Gear Guide, and Bunmi Laditan of Honest Toddler. Additional workshops include: yoga, toddler cooking, babywearing, car seat safety, greener living, birth choices and lactation support.
