Harrison Avenue Playground - Abington

Harrison Avenue, Abington, MA

A week, or two, ago we really needed to do some running around and it was finally sunny, and warm. We wanted to try a new playground, but didn't want to go far so we stopped by the Harrison Street Playground in Abington on our way home. It was a small playground with a single play structure and two swing sets. The play structure is definitely on the older side, but it held my girls (almost 2 and almost 4) attention for the 20 minutes we spent there, and they didn't want to go when it was time to leave. There was a swing set for both older and younger children, and they both loved the swings. There is also a ball field at the park for running around, and a small basketball court.

Parking is on the street, but there was plenty on the day we were there. There are no restrooms available to plan appropriately.

Bottom Line - Drive worthy? No, but perfect for running around and getting out some energy if you are in the area.
