Macaroni Kid South Shore Boston is proud to be a sponsor of the Duxbury Art Boosters Youth Arts & Crafts Fair! Make sure you stop by our table and make a macaroni bracelet!

Need a gift for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or even end of year Teacher gifts?  The Youth Arts & Crafts Fair will have a variety of items including tote bags, hair accessories, fishing lures, pet items, jewelry, home accessories, greeting cards plus baked goods.  The items are reasonably priced with products starting at $0.50.

This week’s featured crafter is Jared D. who is in ninth grade from Duxbury, MA.  He makes bowls from scratched record albums and coasters from the album jackets.  He started making these items in 2012 to earn extra spending money.  He has many different artists like Elvis, Jimmy Buffet and Kenny Rogers.  This is his second craft fair and he is excited since it is a youth fair.  The last one he did was all adults with just one other teen table.

The Youth Arts & Crafts Fair is this Saturday, April 27th from 10 am to 2 pm. It is a community event with free admission.  There are over 90 youths (ages 9-16) registered to sell their arts and crafts from 14 towns.  Youth entertainment on the half hour: 10:30am  Full Circle Youth Chorus, 11:30am Street Performer Will F. and 12:30pm New Violet.  Students learn to showcase their talent, sell their products while also learning business and people skills.  The event is being held at Duxbury High School, 130 Saint George St., Duxbury.
