Well, actually the first episode starts with a Tyrannosaurus Trux picking on and fighting with another Tyrannosaurus Trux named Ty Rux. It pits Dinotrux of the same and different species against each other. Ty Rux stands out from the rest. He believes in teamwork and cooperation. By bringing different herds together toward a common goal they all realize they have unique skills that when combined can conquer any problem. Ty Rux encourages kindness in others by demonstrating it in himself. The concept that friends come in all different shapes, sizes and even herds shines through.
Dinotrux messaging of building a supportive community spills over into story time with Dinotrux books, by Chris Gall, which inspired the series. I love that it comes full circle and allows families another opportunity to discuss the importance of focusing on the things that unity us rather than the things that make us different and divide us. The books and Dinotrux toys make a great holiday gift and a fun way for kids to carry these important themes into their play.
Now in it's third season, which premiered, on Neflix, in early October, Dinotrux is back with sixteen brand-new, episodes that are full of action, larger-than-life adventures and a truly feel good message.
