There are TONS of great, family-friendly, events and activities across the South Shore during February Vacation Week! Here are the best of the best for $5 or less per person!

Mini Golf - $5 per person

This event supports the student-athletics and student-activities at Rockland High School.

Celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day free

Join the Hingham Public Library to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day! Stop by and write a kind anonymous note and volunteers will place them around the library for others to find.

When: Tuesday, February 16th from 10AM to 8PM
Where: Hingham Public Library, 66 Leavitt Street, Hingham, MA 02043

Monkey Kingdom - free

Join Ventress Memorial Library to watch the movie Monkey Kingdom.

Make and Take Playdough - free

Join Duxbury Free Library and South Shore Family Network to make playdough.

E. T. The Extra Terrestrial - free

Join the Norwell Public Library for a viewing of E. T. - The Extra Terrestrial.

ivivva Rip Rides Class - complimentary

Get sweaty at an exhilarating row and spin class! Don't forget your water.

When: Wednesday, February 17th from 1:30PM to 2:30PM
Who: Girls age 5 - 15.

Wild at Wompatuck - free

Head to the Wompatuck Visitor Center for a FREE nature program for kids and their families. This two hour program for school age kids includes a walk through the park (wear your winter clothes and boots!), a wildlife scavenger hunt and hot cocoa in front of the fire. Program may be cancelled during inclement weather.

When: February 18th from 12PM to 2PM
Where: Wompatuck State Park, Visitor Center, 204 Union Street, Hingham
Who: Best suited for kids age 6 - 12 and their families.
How: Just show up!

Engineering with Lego - free

Join the Hingham Public Library and the South Shore Community Action Council for a Lego engineering.

When: Thursday, February 18th from 1PM to 2:30PM

P.A.R.K Public Skate Fundraiser - $5 per person

Join Play Areas for Rockland Kids (P.A.R.K.) for a free skate. Skate rentals are not available. Money raised from this event will support a new playground at Hartsuff Park in Rockland.
